Reawakening

The world weighs heavily on Mae's shoulders as she accepts her duties, and her new life. She has many people counting on her to protect them, but as she strives to adjust to her circumstances, she is struck by a feeling of humble insignificance.

Gaaahhehahehahhhh this took me forever to get right. The background alone took me a month at least, and I'm not the type of person who usually takes more than a week or two to complete a piece of artwork.
Buuuut after several weeks of tweaking and trying very hard to get the colors just right, I've finished it.
